The wildebeest is a type of antelope native to African grasslands. They are herbivorous and possess very sharp Horns. It looks like a cross between an antelope and a cow, with all the speed of the antelope and all the brains of a cow. It can grow up to 4 ? feet at the shoulders and weigh up to 500 pounds. The wildebeest is yet another animal that needs its speed to evade predators. If it's not hunted down or killed by disease, a wildebeest can live more than 20 years.
