Floating ice freeze the Yellow River in Huhhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Dec. 22, 2011. About 600 kilometers of the Yellow River in Inner Mongolia were jammed by floating ice by 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. The local government was monitoring the river for possible ice runs.
