WASHINGTON -- U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said Saturday that the U.S. forces seized another oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela earlier in the day.

"In a pre-dawn action early this morning on Dec. 20, the US Coast Guard with the support of the Department of War apprehended an oil tanker that was last docked in Venezuela," Noem said on X. (US-Venezuela-Oil Tanker)

RAMALLAH/JERUSALEM -- Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in separate incidents in the northern West Bank on Saturday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.

According to the ministry in Ramallah, a 16-year-old, Rayan Mohammed Abdel Qader Abu Mualla, was killed in Qabatiya. His body is being withheld by Israeli forces, the statement added. MOSCOW -- One person was killed and two others injured in an explosion in Khimki city in the Moscow region, local authorities said Saturday.

ABUJA -- At least 12 passengers of an overspeeding bus were killed late Friday after it rammed into a stationary truck on a highway in Kogi state in central Nigeria, the traffic police said Saturday.

Tenimu Etuku, the sector commander for the Federal Road Safety Corps in Kogi, told local media that two other passengers sustained injuries following the crash along the Ejule-Enugu highway. (Nigeria-Road Accident) Enditem
