Palestinian President and President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas will pay a state visit to China from April 30 to May 1, at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu made the announcement at a regular press briefing?in Beijing?on Thursday.
