Daguhe River scenic area in southeast Jiaozhou of Qingdao city becomes hot destination after its comprehensive treatment. 13 special tourism towns are scattered on both sides of the river. The area has attracted 33 major projects with a total investment of 28.2 billion yuan (US$ 4.2 billion) including 4.16-billion-yuan fixed assets investment. The area is 8 kilometers away from the Jiaodong international airport. To its south is Jiaozhou national economic and technical development zone and to the east is Red Island economic zone. The river, occupying 45 percent of Qingdao's territory, is the river that gave birth to this beautiful city. |
