The foundation laying ceremony of Graphene Tyre Central Laboratory kicked off on March 18, 2015, in the West Coast New Area in Qingdao, a coastal city of east China's Shandong province.
The project will make the best use of the internet technology, and integrate global resources for research to set up high-performance tyre research, inspection and certification platform and the national first graphene tyre lab to realize industrialization of high-end tyre.
According to the plan for the lab, it will feature advanced 3D printing technological laboratory, analog and simulation technological laboratory, research and development and detection laboratory and graphene research and development platform.
