Reporter learned from the Meeting of City’s Culture, Radio and TV, Press and Publication that in 2015, Qingdao will build a modern public service system of culture, build core advantage of cultural industry, accelerate “benefiting citizens with tourism” and improve Qingdao’s international influence on culture.
“Culture Capital of East Asia” is established as an important cultural brand for Qingdao reaching out to the world. Through this whole year, Qingdao will host a series of cultural activities such as art festivals, talent competitions and cultural exhibitions to show the city’s cultural features to the world.
Qingdao will take film and television industry as its core industry of local culture and provide great support to its development. On the basis of setting up fund for developing film and television industry, Qingdao will attract industrial investment, bring in social capital and build film production bases with international leading level.
