A summit on equity investment in Bohai Rim is scheduled to open in Qingdao, Shandong Province, on April 26, according to a recent news briefing.
Sponsored by the municipal government and China Venture Capital Research Institute, the three-day event aims to introduce venture capital into the development of the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone.
Central and local governmental senior officials, the Davos World Economic Forum chief economist Hu Zuliu and more than 60 famous economists, investors and industry leaders have accepted invitation to deliver speeches during the summit.
More than 200 international renowned institutional investors are expected to attend the summit together with 80 billion yuan (US$12.7 billion) of venture capitals to finance Qingdao enterprises.
