The 2013 China (Yinchuan) International Muslim Entrepreneurs Summit kicked off in the city of Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on September 14.
Some 500 renowned Muslim entrepreneurs, scholars and academicians on Muslim economic research from 47 countries and regions took part in the event to discuss potential economic cooperation between China and Arab States.
Themed “Friendship, Communication and Win-win Cooperation,” the summit, sponsored by the Yinchuan Municipal Government, included a summit forum, a project promotion fair and several assessment activities.
Some 11 honored guests from China, Jordan, Canada and Egypt gave themed speeches on the topic of “Opportunities and challenges in the construction of the Ningxia Inland Opening-up Economic Pilot Zone.”
