Maoling Mausoleum 茂陵

The Maoling Mausoleum is located in Maoling Village of Nanwei Town, 40km north of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. The Maoling Mausoleum is the tomb of Emperor Wudi (156-87BC) of the Western Han Dynasty (206BC-9AD). The mausoleum was built in 155BC which took 53 years to complete.
