Information Times (信息時(shí)報(bào))

Founded in 1985 as a business paper, the Guangzhou-based Information Times underwent an extensive makeover in May 2001 in a bid by the Guangzhou Daily Newspaper Group, its publisher, to reposition it as a commercial tabloid with comprehensive news coverage. That investment has proven a success; the paper today boasts circulation of 1.57 million, making it the most-read tabloid in Guangdong Province. It saw a second redesign in March 2006.
