The Houston Rockets secured a 95-93 victory over the Los Angeles
Lakers in NBA 2007-08 opener game on October 31.

Rockets' all-star forward Tracy McGrady contributed 30 points,
center Yao Ming achieved two-digit with 25 points and 12
rebounds.
Kobe Bryant sharply shot 45 points, but Shane Battier shot a
3-point to help the Rockets win over Lakers 2.5 seconds before the
end of the game.
The win is also Rich Adelman's first as Rockets coach and his
debut in the NBA 2007-08 season.
