Chinese defender Sun Jihai has been voted one of the top 20
international players in English Premier League side Manchester
City.
Sun was ranked 19th in the ballot, which was held by the
official magazine of Manchester City. All the votes came from local
fans of the club.
Other stars in the 20 are Nicolas Anelka of France, Danish
goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel and Paulo Wanchope of Costa Rica.
Sun Jihai, a former player with China's super league club Dalian
Shide, was transferred to the English club in 2002.
