In women's basketball, China beat Croatia 83-58 on Monday in the second round competition of group A.

It was the team's second victory at the London Olympics. Chinese Center Chen Nan scored 28 points and 10 rebounds. The record of 28 points is Chen Nan’s highest in her Olympic career. Earlier on Saturday, China beat the Czech Republic in the opener of the competition.

On Wednesday, China will meet its third rival Angola.
