Midfielder Vinnie Grella will miss Australia's crucial World Cup Group D match against Ghana here on Saturday due to knee injury, team officials said on Thursday.

The Blackburn Rovers' midfielder sprained the medial ligament in his knee at training. ' However, Grella, who has 49 caps, will only miss the Ghana game and has not yet been ruled out of the final Group D clash against Serbia in Nelspruit on June 23.

Grella was hauled off at halftime in Australia's 4-0 rout by Germany in Durban last Saturday.
