German star Thomas Lurz completed a open water golden double on Wednesday as he added the 10km title to the 5km crown he won on Tuesday at the World Championships in Rome.
American Andrew Gemmell came home in second place with his team-mate Francis Crippen touching the finishing banner in third, just ahead of Italy's Valerio Cleri.
