"Wheat Harvester" depicts the destitute and homeless lives of migrant wheat harvesters in northwest China. Hu Wugong possesses a strong passion for peasants living in the central Shanxi plain. Though he cannot change the peasants' living conditions, he undertakes a social responsibility to show their lives through his work.
