Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden called on France to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan in exchange for releasing French hostages being held by affiliates of the extremist group. But France was determined to continue its mission in Afghanistan in response to a threat by Osama Bin Laden that more French hostages in Africa would be killed, the French Foreign Ministry said Friday.
