Kamel Kardjena of Algeria set a new world record with 11.54 meters and won the gold of the Men's Shot Put F33/34/52 at the National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, during the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing on September 12, 2008.
