Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on Friday met with Kwon Jong-rak, vice minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea(ROK), who attended the first high-level strategic dialogue held between the Chinese and ROK diplomatic departments in Beijing.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wang Guangya and Kwon Jong-rak held the dialogue on Thursday, and exchanged views on bilateral ties and the major international and regional issues of common concern.
Both agreed the dialogue was constructive and should be maintained.
