China was the Guest of Honor for the 2009 Frankfurt Book Fair from Oct. 13 to 18. Coordinated by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China, CIPG (China International Publishing Group), China's largest foreign-language publishing and distributing organization, promoted an activity to exhibit Chinese books from Oct. 1 to 31. Many hand-crafts were also exhibited with related books.
