A total of 2,152 members of the 10th National Committee of the
Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) attended
the fourth plenary meeting of the top advisory body's first session
in Beijing Thursday afternoon.
The meeting is scheduled to elect new leadership for the 10th
National Committee of the CPPCC, which has a membership of
2,238.
