The number of deputies to be elected from the PLA to the National
People's Congress is decided by the NPC Standing Committee.
The number of deputies to be elected to the National People's
Congress by the PLA general departments, units at the level of
major military command and the General Office of the Central
Military Commission are allocated by the PLA Electoral
Committee.
The number of deputies to be elected by the PLA units stationed in
different places to the local people's congresses, at or above the
county level, is decided by the standing committees of the people's
congresses of the places where the PLA units are stationed.
