China Cracks Down on Illegal Animal Smuggling

Chinese police have announced the arrest of members of a trans-national gang illegally smuggling wild animals in Manchuli in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

About 450 products made by wild animals were discovered during the investigation including bear's paw, gallbladder, musk and antler.

Since late this year, police in Manchuli have arrested several criminals for illegally purchasing and smuggling precious wild animal's products.
