Adjust font size:

The Tibetan Antelope Rescue Center in Hohxil, northwest China's Qinghai Province, has rescued around 100 rare plateau animals in the past three years, the local administration bureau said recently.

The center was established in 2003 and is located 4,600 meters above sea level. Wildlife rescue workers fed and treated 96 Tibetan antelopes and other rare species living in the area, of which 85 survived and 62 were released to the wild after they received treatment, said Caiga, the bureau director.

There are now 23 antelopes being cared for at the center. Two of them recently gave birth.
