Strong Cold Air to Bring Temperature down Sharply
Adjust font size:

A cold front from western Siberia will cause temperatures to drop between six and 14 degrees Celsius in central and east China over the next four to five days, said weather forecasters on Monday.

According to the China's Central Meteorological Station, the cold front is moving southeast and will lead to lower temperatures, strong winds and snow in central and east China.

Strong winds will hit parts of northwest and north China from Tuesday to Friday, bringing down temperatures between six and ten degrees Celsius.

The drop could be as low as between 11 and 14 degrees Celsius in some parts north and northeast China. Snow is expected in east Inner Mongolia and northeast China, said the station.

The fog and haze blanketing central and eastern China are expected to disappear on Wednesday, said the station.
