Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi has replaced Maggie Cheung as the spokeswoman for a famous Hong Kong-based jewelry brand.

The domestic portal Sohu.com reports that Zhang attended a promotional event for the brand Thursday night in Beijing, in what was also the actress's first public appearance since returning from the US.
