The spirit of persistence in the Lüliang Mountains

This is a moral legacy passed on by the people of the Lüliang Mountains during the revolutionary war years in the 1930s and 1940s. Xi Jinping praised this legacy in June 2017 on a tour of inspection to Shanxi Province, where the Lüliang Mountains extend. He said that numerous daughters and sons of Lüliang had shed their blood in cultivating a powerful spirit. In pursuit of the overall national interest they fought under harsh conditions, and were unwavering in their efforts.

呂梁精神

上世紀三四十年代,呂梁精神在山西省呂梁山脈這一特殊的地理環(huán)境中孕育而成,它是當地的人民群眾在長期的社會實踐中形成的獨特的精神風貌,是呂梁人民革命和建設制勝的法寶。2017年6月,習近平在山西考察調研時特別提到了呂梁精神:革命戰(zhàn)爭年代,呂梁兒女用鮮血和生命鑄就了偉大的呂梁精神。這一精神的主要內涵是艱苦奮斗、顧全大局、自強不息、勇于創(chuàng)新。其中,艱苦奮斗是基石,顧全大局是核心,自強不息是精髓,勇于創(chuàng)新是靈魂。
