Imperial Palace Museum Opens Exhibition Featuring Emperors' Secrets

An imperial palace museum in Chengde in north China's Hebei Province has opened an exhibition featuring the secret history of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

The palace was built for Qing emperors as a summer resort and has long been a popular tourism destination for people.

The exhibition hall has two floors with a total area of 1,300 square meters. It was divided into five sections to display historic events attended by each important emperor.

The hall also displays 400 wax figures of emperors, empresses and court officials.
