The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST)this morning started its sixth national conference in Beijing's Great Hall of the People.
The conference,which is traditionally organized in every five years,will last till June 25.
Nationwide delegates to the conference will discuss the work report of the fifth CAST national committee,revise the CAST constitution and elect new leadership for the association.
