A graduate of the Department of Photography at Beijing Film Academy, Lu was once a photographer for Document China, editor for China Photographers Association, arranger at China Photograph Museum, photographer at China News Weekly and columnist for China Photo Press. He is now the editor of CAAC Inflight Magazine. Lu’s works are shown around China and the United States, and are collected by Asia Society, Imogen Cunningham Trust and Guangdong Art Museum. In 2007, he published his own photo album, Ordinariness.
