Yantai City, Shandong Province, set up its first chamber of commerce in Qingdao on Nov. 8.

About 2,000 enterprises in Qingdao are run by entrepreneurs from Yantai, covering over 30 areas such as investment, foreign trade, machinery, household appliances, mechanical and electric equipment, real estate, decoration, hotels and design.

With assets totaling around 160 billion yuan (US$26.26 billion) and annual sales of 50 billion yuan, these enterprises create almost 30,000 job opportunities in Qingdao.
