A farmer in Guangdong Province's Zijin county recently caught a 70-cm wild boa that had strayed on to his farm.
Huang decided to keep the snake at his house and care for it. On Sunday night, however, he woke up and saw a 3-m boa trying to climb into his house.
"It was obviously the small boa's family," said Huang, who phoned forest officials, asking them to release the snakes back into the wild.
