The gold price in Hong Kong moved down 20 HK dollars to close at 15,770 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,698.22 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 2.59 U.S. dollars at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.795 HK dollars.
