Li Er (李洱) was born in 1966 in Jiyuan of Henan Province. He graduated from East China Normal University and is currently working at the National Museum of Modern Chinese Literature.
His works include the novels "Coloratura" and "Cherries on pomegranate tree." and have been translated into German, Italian, French, English, Korean and Japanese.
