Award-winning author Deng Yiguang (鄧一光)?started writing in the 1980s. He has published nine full-length novels and 12 short novels. He currently resides in Shenzhen.

He has been the winner of the Lu Xun Literary Prize, the first Feng Mu Literary Award, the People's Literature Prize, the eighth Hundreds of Flowers Award awarded to him by literary magazine Fiction Monthly, the National Best 10 Short Novel Award, the Literary Award handed to him by October magazine and the Lin Jinlan Short Novel Award.
