About 80 students from Shanghai and neighboring cities were recognized for their environmental protection artwork as an ecology-friendly contest wound up in Shanghai yesterday.
Co-sponsored by Shanghai Education Commission and Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau, the activity attracted more than 100,000 primary and secondary school students in 10 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region.
More than 1,000 entries, including paintings, photos and video, have been selected to compete in the final round in Shanghai.
